From the shores of Cape Verde to the hills of Madagascar, from Nairobi to Luanda, from Enugu to the Seychelles, the Spiritan family in Africa and the Islands lives one mission in many languages. Today we are delighted to invite you into a place where all those voices meet: the website of the Spiritan Conference of Circumscriptions of Africa and the Islands (SCCAI), csspafricanews.org.
Our motto is Cor Unum et Anima Una, “One Heart and One Soul”. We wanted a website that lives it. So whether you pray, read and dream in English, French, Portuguese or Kiswahili, there is a door open for you.
Who we are
SCCAI is the structure of cooperation among all Spiritan circumscriptions (Provinces and Groups) across the African continent and the neighbouring islands: Cape Verde, Madagascar, Seychelles, Réunion and Mauritius. It brings together major superiors, formators and missionaries to reflect, coordinate and act together, in a synodal way, for the promotion of the Spiritan charism.

● Daily prayer: the Saint of the Day, the liturgical calendar and the readings at Mass.
